Former Barcelona and Manchester United goalkeeper Victor Valdes has retired from football after 15 years as a professional. The goalkeeper who made his name in Spain with Barcelona will begin work behind the camera as a host of a TV show will interview retired footballers. MundoDeportivo report that the 35-year-old rejected offers from Real Betis, Deportivo, Las Palmas and Sporting Lisbon to prolong his career.

The footballer set up a television production company, called ‘Crazy4fun’, with two partners.
