Neymar demands PSG sell Cavani as superstars stay confront from each other in dressing room (Details, pics)
There is tension in the PSG dressing room with reports claiming Neymar and Edison Cavani are avoiding each other following their dispute in last weekend's 2 - 0 win over Lyon.
The win was however marred by two separate incident involving two of the club's attackers.
The first incident came when Dani Alves refused to hand Cavani the ball to take a free-kick instead giving it to his country man Neymar to take.
Neymar's attempt was however punched behind as the Paris club chased the game.
The second came when Cavani refused to hand Neymar the ball for a penalty with the Uruguayan succeeding this time but his effort was also saved.
L’Equipe report that tensions rose further in the dressing room post-game when the Uruguayan confronted the Brazilian after he left the field immediately after the full-time whistle, not joining the rest of his teammates in saluting the club’s supporters.
Cavani waited in the dressing room for his teammates to arrive, and then confronted Neymar in his tracks telling him he was unhappy with the players attitude in Spanish.
Neymar responded, Cavani stood up then club captain Thiago Silva and Marquinhos stepped in before the matter escalated.
