Mbappe, Dembele and Gabriel Jesus makes the final list for Football Golden Boy award (Details, pics)

The winner of the Golden Boy award is set to be announced on Monday.

Voted for by journalists across Europe, the shortlist of 24 of the most talented youngsters in world football has been whittled down to the final three.

The Portuguese star, Reno Sanchez won the award last year.
He has failed to make an impact in his first season at Bayern Munich and has been given the opportunity to shine in the Premier League.

Now on loan at Swansea, Renato Sanches won the award last year and joined an illustrious list of players in doing so.

Wayne Rooney, Leo Messi, Sergio Aguero, Isco, Paul Pogba and Cesc Fabregas are just some of the players to have won it in recent years.

PSG's Kylian Mbappe, Barcelona's Ousmane Dembele and Manchester City's Gabriel Jesus are the three up for the award.

Mbappe, still only 18, has enjoyed an excellent start to life at Paris-Saint Germain following his incredible breakthrough season at Monaco.

The teenage goalscoring sensation already has eight caps for France and will likely feature at the 2018 World Cup in Russia.

Looking to replace Neymar, Barcelona splashed out over €100m on Dembele over the summer.

While Gabriel Jesus is having a superb form with Manchester City this season having six goals in seven appearances.
