Neymar see Red as Cavani last minute free kick rescue a point for PSG against Olympic Marseille (Details, pics)

With PSG's unbeaten record under serious threat in 'Le Classique' against Marseille, the red mist descended for Neymar as he was sent for an early shower.

With Paris Saint-Germain trailing at the Stade Velodrome in the 87th minute, Neymar broke free of two Marseille players before being tripped by Lucas Ocampos.

Neymar jumped straight back up and pushed Ocampos, and the Argentinian winger hit the deck like a pack of cards.

Moments later the referee brandished a yellow card for both players, meaning Neymar would not finish the match.

The former Barcelona star had already been booked for complaining just minutes earlier and he sarcastically applauded and smiled at the referee's decision as he made his way off the pitch.

Neymar sent off in the final stages against Marseille!

With Neymar in the dressing room after seeing a second yellow card in the dying minutes against Marseille, Edinson Cavani stepped up to save PSG.

In the 93rd minute of the match, PSG relied on Cavani to convert the final chance of the match, and he did not disappoint.

His strike rebounded off the bar and over the line, sending the PSG dugout into delirium.

Although Steve Mandanda could have done better, the goal helped PSG rescue a point when they were staring down the barrel at defeat.
