It’s never too late to educate yourself. Swizz Beatz recently proved that age ain’t nothing but a number when it comes to higher learning after revealing that he will soon receive a degree from Harvard. The mega-producer shared a video on social media, celebrating the final days leading up to his graduation.

“It’s been a blessing coming from the Bronx, going to Harvard. A lot of people were saying why would you go to school? It’s never too late to get your education, further your education,” Swizz said while sitting on a private plane. He continued by encouraging others to seek education as well. “Knowledge is power,” he added. “It don’t have to be an Ivy league school. Just as long as you’re doing your thing, do your thing.” 

In the video, Swizz also toasted to the good life while dedicating his soon-to-be accomplishment to his family and the culture. “Now this is my graduation stretch. Cheers,” he exclaimed. “We could’ve been in a jail cell. Showtime! From the Bronx to Harvard. I’m in a good space. I’m in a good move. I’m doing this for the culture. I’m doing this for my kids, my family, for ya’ll, for me.”

Swizz majored into the college 3yrs ago. Nevertheless, he will join the list of rappers who have graduated from college. That list includes stars like Ice Cube, J. Cole, Ludacris, Childish Gambino and more.
