'I'm obsessed': Kim Kardashian shows off her peachy derriere in new snaps after dressing up as late singer Selena (Details, pics)

Kim Kardashian dressed up as late Tejano singer Selena Quintanilla for Halloween. And on Tuesday the 37-year-old siren took to her website to talk about how much effort it took.

'I was so excited for my Selena look!' said Mrs Kanye West. 'I'm obsessed with making sure every little detail—from the glam to the nails—is as close to the original as possible!'The mother of North, aged four, and Saint, aged one, began: 'This Halloween, there was so much going on behind the scenes!'I loved the purple jumpsuit (custom-made by Kimi Kouture) for my Selena look. Ariel Tejada and Chris Appleton perfectly re-created Selena’s original glam and hair.''

All of my costumes were really different, so getting into character for each was such a unique process. The outfit highlights her incredible curves. Not only does the outfit show off her round backside, but it also flashes her tummy and some underboob. In the full-length images Kim is posing against a white wall.

Selena wore the outfit on stage toward the end of her life. The singer was murdered in 1995 just as her career was about to cross over to America. She was born in Texas but became famous in the Tejano circuit then in Mexico. The US embraced her as well. It looked as if the beauty was about to become a major star.

Jennifer Lopez played Selena in the 1997 movie; the singer said the experience changed her life. Later Jennifer would go on to do what Selena had already accomplished: she launched a singing and fashion career. Selena was not Kim's only Halloween costume.

She also dressed up as late singer Aliyah, and was criticized heavily for doing so, even being called racist. The siren responded by saying she does not see color in her house.
Kim also dressed up as Madonna with Kourtney as Michael Jackson. In years past Kim as dressed as Jasmine from Aladdin, Wonder Woman, Poison Ivy, a skeleton, Catwoman and Snow White, among others.

And she was Cher to Jonathan Cheban's Sonny. The Selfish author has been busy all week plugging her new perfumes, which come out November 15.Last week the 37-year-old reality TV queen shared new images for the launch that were taken by the photo team Mert And Marcus.

And on Monday Mrs Kanye West shared a behind-the-scenes look at the photo session on her site. In one image she appeared to almost spill out of her sheer top. In another shot she was seen in a silk dress with spaghetti straps as she talked to a crew member. Her raven locks were worn down and she had on minimal makeup.

The diva was also seen sitting on the floor as she gave her best pout. This comes after the siren shared an arresting image to Instagram on Friday. The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star wore a white pirate's blouse that she tugged at along with a crystal necklace. It fell off her shoulder and she pretended not to notice.

The three fragrances all have crystal in the headline. Her caption read: 'Crystal Gardenia, Crystal Gardenia Citrus and Crystal Gardenia Oud available worldwide 11/15 @kkwfragrance.

'In her portrait by Mert and Marcus she smolders with not too much makeup and messy black locks. Another image is of the white bottle on a bed of crystals. This is not Kim's first step into the fragrance world. About a decade ago she launched a floral fragrance that has sold well. That was with her old KK logo.

She now has a cleaner, more modern look. This launch comes after the success of her beauty line that includes a contour kit and powder kit.

On Sunday Kim was seen in a tense episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians.
