Rihanna, Kim Kardashian, LeBron James all demand justice! The real story of Cyntoia Brown a child sex slave who was sentenced to life in prison for killing her abuser (Details, pics)

Cyntoia Brown’s story has been brought to light by a film put together by Dan Birman.

Birman’s film explains how her life of abuse led to mental health issues. “This is a young girl who’s at the tail end of three generations of violence against women,” Birman told Fox 17 News. Her grandmother and mother were both raped as well. “She had no chance,” Birman explains. The helmsman is hoping that the story will help free a young girl who is imprisoned for killing the man who solicited her at 16-years-old.

Brown was solicited in 2004 to a 43-year-old Nashville real estate agent named Johnny Mitchell Allen. They drove to his home in his pickup truck, went in his bed, and shortly after Brown ended his life with a shot from a .40-caliber handgun to the head.

She was sentenced to life in prison at the Tennessee Prison for Women with a chance of parole at age 67, despite having been abused repeatedly and a victim of sex trafficking. The film was so impactful Tennessee laws for children like Brown changed in 2011. Anyone 18 or younger can’t even be charged with prostitution. “[There’s] no such thing as a child prostitute or a teen prostitute. I think we’ve had to have a cultural mind shift,” Derri Smith, the Founder of End Slavery TN said. However, Brown is still sitting in jail despite the film’s impact.

People have been rallying for Brown’s freedom in her hometown by presenting her case to the Governor and the Parole Board. Cyntoia Brown is now 28 with her associate’s degree and is now working on her master’s. Social media got word of the sad case and began their outcry.

Celebrities from Rihanna, Kim Kardashian West, LeBron James, T.I and others have all rally around Cyntioa and demand for justice.
