Star Trek actor, George Takei has been accused of sexually assaulting a former model in 1981.

Scott R. Brunton has alleged the star, who is famous for his role as Hikaru Sulo in the Star Trek TV series and Nakamura in ‘Heroes’, groped him at a Los Angeles bar when he was 23 and had just moved to Hollywood. George was either 43 or 44 at the time.

Speaking to The Hollywood Reporter , former model and actor Scott said the pair intially exchanged numbers and would talk every so often as well as bump into each other at clubs.

When Scott broke up with his boyfriend, George – now 80 – called him and invited him to dinner and a theatre show, claims Brunton.

Brunton told the publication that George, who appeared on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here in 2008, was a good shoulder to cry on following the split as he was “a great ear”.

Later on, the pair then went back to George’s home for a drink.

“We have the drink and he asks if I would like another,” Brunton said. “And I said sure. So, I have the second one, and then all of a sudden, I begin feeling very disoriented and dizzy, and I thought I was going to pass out.

“I said I need to sit down and he said sit over here and he had the giant yellow beanbag chair. So I sat down in that and leaned my head back and I must have passed out.”

Scottt alleges the actor then tried to take his underwear off and groped his crotch.
