Many of knew Nigerian author and activist Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, but little is known about her family, especially her husband.

For starters, Chimamanda is married to Dr Ivara Esege, a medical doctor based in Baltimore, Maryland and they have a daughter together.

Dr Ivara received his medical degree from University of Nigeria and he has been practicing for more than 20 years. He is one of the 110 doctors at University of Maryland Medical Center who specialize Ambulatory/Urgent Care in Family Medicine.
