Governor Tambuwal ferried with his cars across River Benue to Taraba (Details, pics)

The Sokoto state governor, Aminu Tambuwal, was ferried along with his delegation and his cars across the River Benue as he led some officials to Ibi Local Government Area of Taraba on Wednesday, December 27.

Tambuwal was in Zamfara to pay a condolence visit to the former chief whip of the House of Representatives, Isiaka Bawa, who lost his mother, Hajiya Hadiza, recently, according to Premium Times.

The report said the photographs were released by the governor’s spokesperson, Imam Imam. In one of the photographs, the governor and his convoy were ferried across the river into Ibi town on boats.

One of the photographs, also showed the governor peeping through his car window and his car gets set for the journey across the river which reportedly took 30 minutes.

The report said the people of the local government had been promised a bridge but that this is yet to materialize 50 years after.
