More photos emerge as Emir of Kano's first son becomes a police officer (Details, pics)

Prince Aminu Sanusi Lamido, the son of the Emir of Kano Muhammad Lamido Sanusi has become an officer of the Nigerian Police Force.

Aminu graduated with the rank of Assistant Superintendent of Police from the Plateau Academy of the police force. He also graduated from the University of Buckingham, in the United Kingdom with a degree in accounting.

The 26-year-old prince studied Arabic in Riyad, Saudi Arabia before returning to Nigeria for his national youth service.

Meanwhile, the Emir of Kano recently talked about what the government needs to do to bring peace to the country.

The Emir said the current constitution which states the country must have governors and deputies in all the 36 states, president and vice president, ministers from every state, over 109 senators and over 360 House of representatives, 774 local chairmen are not sustainable.
