Governor Samuel Ortom has joined other prominent Nigerians to felicitate with President Muhammadu Buhari on the occasion of the president's 75th birthday marked on Sunday, December 17.

Governor Ortom in a statement sent by his spokesman, Terver Akase, prayed that the president enjoys many more years of good health and wisdom.

The governor stated that the giant strides taken by President Buhari to pull the country out of recession are unprecedented, expressing his confidence that the president will do more for Nigerians in the months and years to come.

He described President Buhari as “a selfless leader who's commitment to the fight against corruption has restored Nigeria's place as a respected nation among other countries of the world.”

The governor urges all Nigerians to support President Buhari by embracing the policies of the present administration, stressing that the economy will continue to improve.

He affirmed that Benue state will sustain its collaboration with the Federal Government in providing good governance and security in particular as demonstrated through the enactment of the Open Grazing Prohibition and Ranches Establishment Law to end frequent crises between herdsmen and farmers in the state.
