Celta Vigo force Real Madrid to a dramatic draw in tough Spanish La Liga encounter (Details, pics)

Real Madrid on Sunday, January 7 continued with their unimpressive run of form this season in the Spanish La Liga after they were forced to a 2-2 draw by Celta Vigo.

Portuguese international Cristiano Ronaldo missed so many scoring chances which would have helped Los Blancos secure a vital point against their opponents.

Celta Vigo scored the first goal in the game through Daniel Wass in the 33rd minute, and it was Lago Aspa that assisted him to score the goal.

But Real Madrid replied with two goals in the 36th and 38th minute respectively from Gareth Bale who was brilliant in scoring the two goals in two minutes.

Real Madrid were seriously looking for another goal in the second half, but Maximiliano Gomez scored for Celta Vigo in the 82nd minute for the match to end 2-2.

Real Madrid still occupy fourth position on the Spanish La Liga standings with 32 points from 17 games played this season.
