A young and talented fuji singer identified simply as Basit recently went viral after he was spotted singing on the streets in Ibadan.

The young singer who is blind has now gotten the attention of Nigerians, including one of the biggest names in fuji, Wasiu Alabi Pasuma. The fuji star reached out to Basit after he watched the video of the boy passionately singing one of his songs.

In a recent post on Pasuma’s Instagram page, the boy was seen singing songs with the fuji star as he drummed on the bare floor with bottles. Pasuma also shared photos of himself and Basit having funny with members of his team.

Pasuma who had shared a post lauding Basit’s talents finally met him. The celebrity had shared a post on Instagram asking for the boy’s information, also stating his thanks to the people who called his attention to the video.
