Kemi Olunloyo finally regains freedom after spending 90 days in detention, plans to write a book on her experience in PH prison (Details, pics)
It has just been reported that controversial Nigerian self-acclaimed journalist Kemi Omololu-Olunloyo has finally regained freedom after spending about 90 days in Port Harcourt maximum prison.
Just hours after regaining freedom, the ex-governor’s daughter on Tuesday, January 9, took to her Instagram handle to share a video of her thanking her fans and supporters for standing by her all through the trying times.
She further added that she was released around 5:30 pm on the same day the video was shared. Olunloyo further explained that the federal government needs to urgently take care of prisoners as their health is deteriorating daily.
Her post reads:
“I have been released from Port Harcourt maximum prison for the third time in 12 months. To the federal government of Nigeria, pls decongest #PHMax. Our young #Igbo #Ogoni #Ikwere#Calabar #AkwaIbom males are all LOCKED UP and not fed adequately. Many wasting away with skin and health problems. The federal ministry of interior needs to intervene FAST! Special thanks to @areafada1 and #ourmumudondomovement which I helped launch @tvcconnect Dec 13th 2016. Details in my upcoming book #StraightOuttaPHMax.
