Nyesom Wike sacks three LG chairmen over corruption charges (Details, pics)

Rivers  State Governor, Chief Nyesom Wike, has approved the sacking  of the  Caretaker Committee Chairmen of Port Harcourt City, Obio/Akpor and Ikwerre Local Government Areas.

A statement by Simeon Nwakaudu, Special Assistant to the Rivers State Governor on Electronic Media noted that the sacking of the  three Caretaker Committee Chairmen would take immediate effect.

The governor sacked the three caretaker committee chairmen for collecting illegal revenues from some companies in the state.
