Rihanna was overcome with emotion as she attended the funeral of her cousin Tavon Kaiseen Alleyne who was gunned down at the age of 21 in Barbados.

The 29-year-old superstar singer was seen wiping away tears at the celebration of life in Barbados on Tuesday.

No doubt it was an emotional event as dozens of her friends and family were in attendance to pay their respects to the young man.

It seemed like the family close to Alleyne wore white at the event as Rihanna was dressed in the light color from head to toe.

Rihanna wore a sheer white midi dress along with a pair of white low-top Puma shoes with 'RF' emblazoned in gold on the side for her real name Robyn Fenty.

She accessorized with a pair of white vintage cateye shades along with a large diamond necklace.

The Diamonds hit maker also sported multiple gold bangles and carried along a white designer bag featuring a jeweled out strap.

Her raven-colored tresses were worn down flowing over her shoulders as her fringe ended just above her eyes.

She contrasted her light outfit with dark make-up including a swipe of black lip and smokey eye.

Two weeks ago Rihanna took to Instagram to pay tribute to her younger cousin just hours after they had spent Christmas Day Together.
