England and Everton forward Wayne Rooney and his wife Coleen Rooney have announced the arrival of their fourth child.

The 31-year-old television presenter, who disclosed the news on her official twitter handle earlier today surprised the world with the name of the child which is different from the 'K' tradition theme Kai, Klay and Kit of her other sons.

According to her tweet, Coleen told her fans: "So happy to welcome our Baby Boy .... Cass Mac Rooney into the world weighing a healthy 8lb 10oz."Cass Mac’s arrival into the family came barely a week after Coleen threw a baby shower to celebrate her newest son with close friends and family, booking out her brother’s cycling fitness studio in Wavertree, Liverpool earlier this month.

She had the studio decorated in pink and blue balloons to keep her guests in the dark over the gender of their child. Taking to Facebook to break her silence over their relationship, she admitted that at first she didn't know if their marriage could survive yet another controversy.

"Wayne doesn't get portrayed for the person he is in the press; he has always had a hard time. I'm not going to list his good qualities as a person as I don't think he deserves it at this time but one thing is that he is a brilliant dad," she said."He's made silly and selfish mistakes, some he's learnt from, some obviously not. However maybe that will change?"In life, you don't know what's going to happen tomorrow," she went on."But one thing I do know is that too much alcohol on a night out is a dangerous and a lot of stupid mistakes are made and things are said under the influence. I would never trust ANYONE who has had a lot of alcohol, it changes some people drastically.

"Coleen has forgiven Wayne for multiple indiscretions in the past, including cheating on her with prostitutes and having a threesome with Jennifer Thompson and Helen Wood, but said she still loves him.

"It's my decision .... do I love Wayne ... yes I do. If I didn't then I wouldn't be trying to make it work," she added in her public Facebook post.

"I know I would be fine on my own, with just me and my children, but I don't want to live like that, I want to try and continue our marriage and live as a family, because that's what I want to do. I'm not saying everything is fine and forgotten about, but we are as good as can be at this point."
