Late OJB's Lagos house which he almost sold for N50million before he died now causing trouble 2 years after (Details, pics)

Two years after the death of versatile Nigerian singer and music producer, Babatunde Okungbowa popularly known as OJB Jezreel, things are not the same anymore.

It was gathered that the singer's property located on Gbaja street in Surulere area of Lagos state has been causing lots of chaos between the family members and one of the wives of the deceased.

There were reports that the aged father of late OJB, Pa Anthony Okungbowa wants his son's first wife, Mabel Okungbowa to leave the house with her kids. But investigations showed that the 90-year-old man who lives in Agbor, Delta state has nothing to do with the building which comprises of a four-bedroom bungalow, a duplex and a shop.

'It is OJB's elder brothers that are behind this whole issue. Especially his immediate elder brother, Tony Okungbowa' a highly place source told newsmen.

Talking about the property which now has a caveat 'This house is not for sale' boldly written on it. A residence said: 'I know the day they came to write this thing, na OJB brother send boys to come write and they almost fought with his wife, mabe because she didn't want them to write it'.

The late singer must have envisaged the trouble as he was said to have concluded on selling the property himself before he died but he died on the Monday morning that the buyer was supposed to make the payments, about fifty million naira.

Thenetng had reported on June 14, 2016 that the late singer had finalised plans to sell his Surulere residence for N50m to a commercial bank. The transaction was said to ought to have occurred three weeks earlier, but for a document which was missing. But when the document was finally gotten, and payments were to be made by 4pm, the singer had died before that time.

The deceased who had 8 children from his 3 wives passed away on June 14, 2016 after a prolonged battle with kidney ailment just a few days before his 50th birthday.
