Meet Hajia Dada, The productive Nigerian woman who gave birth to ex-president and wives of governors (Details, pics)

There are women and there are women! The spotlight has been brought upon Hajia Dada from ‘Yaradua clan in Katsina State, the unsung Yaradua Matriarch, which many refer to as a very blessed mother.

It was gathered that Hajia Dada gave birth to children who became governor, vice president, president, ministers and even wives of governors at different times. Many refer to her as having a blessed womb due to the successes of all the fruits of her womb and the generation after.

In a recent post by the almajira initiative on Instagram, it was mentioned how the children and grandchildren of Hajia Dada conquered (and are still conquering )the political sphere of Nigeria.

The post reads below:

"This is Hajia Dada of ‘Yaradua Katsina State - the unsung Yaradua Matriarch. She was married to Musa Yaradua, a former Minister. Her son Shehu Musa Yaradua was Vice President 1979-1981.

"Another son of hers Umaru Musa Yaradua was Governor of Katsina State for 8 years 1999-2007, and later President of Nigeria 2007-2009 before his demise. Her grandson Alh. Murtala Shehu Yaradua was a Minister 2009-2011.

"Three of her granddaughters were wives of Governors of three different states. Talk about blessed womb! This woman is a major influencer or shaper of Nigerian history. Think about it! "
