Nigerians Blast ACP Yomi Shogunle for saying ‘if you have frightening dreams of being shot by police, visit a psychiatrist’ (Details, pics)

The Assistant commisioner of Police and head of the Public Complaint Rapid Response Unit of the Nigerian police force, Yomi Shogunle is currently fire on Twitter with many calling for his sack after his controversial tweets, he said;

“To all those having frightening dreams- “shot/beaten by police”. Pray to God not to allow it happen + avoid areas where police are responding to incidents in real life. If such dreams persist, GO SEE A PSYCHIATRIST. We only deal with real life police complaints.”

Though he tried to defend himself saying,

“Yes we can disagree 24/7 on everything but the use of vulgar/unacceptable words or uncouth behaviour on my TL = Twitter #Block. Advise all those “Yomi Shogunle has blocked me” to test their Twitter block case in court.”
