A Nigerian man named Dr. Dipo Awojide is currently trending online after advising men to give at least 80 percent of their salary to their girlfriends. The lecturer in strategy shared the post on his Twitter page where he advised men do whatever it takes to make their partner feel secure, financially and emotionally.

Stating how men should provide for their girlfriends in an example, Dipo said : "If your salary is N65,000 there is nothing wrong in giving your babe who is going to NYSC N50k out of that N65k. You are a man. Manage the rest."

He went further to buttress his point by stating that inability to make your lady feel special and appreciated by providing monetary assistance can push her to other men. He also advised that men look after their women as it is their responsibility.
