Passenger who wore 8 pairs of trousers and 10 shirts because he couldn't afford baggage fee gets barred from boarding flight (Details, pics)

A man identified as Ryan Carney Williams has been allegedly arrested at Iceland Keflavik International Airport after he attempted not to pay excess luggage fee by wearing all his clothes at once.

The young man wore eight pairs of pants and 10 shirts to board the flight but he was denied a boarding pass. In a Twitter post, Williams shared a video stating that he was being held at the airport because he had no baggage to put all his clothes in.

He wrote: “@British_Airways hi being held at Iceland Keflavik airport because I had no baggage put all the clothes on and they still won't let me on. Racial profiling? Or.....”

PLEASE STOP SAYING I was EVADING excess baggage fees....I couldn't AFFORD the fee (£90) as a result of being left homeless in Iceland for over a week. Paints a VERY different picture. Thankful that anyone cares tho."According to Iceland news site, Mbl, the man was denied boarding pass for being rude and the police was called after he refused to leave the desk.

It was gathered that the young man shared another post claiming that the police officers sprayed him with mace, held him on the ground and arrested him after he refused to leave. He, however, maintained that he was polite all through the incident.

After giving his report at the police station, he was reportedly released and allowed to go back to the airport for the flight he had booked but he was denied again due to the incident that occurred the previous day.

He wrote: “And AGAIN! Refused from 2 flights in 2 days for no valid reason :) @easyJet @British_Airways thanks guys wonderful service.”

Eventually, Williams was able to get on-board an airplane and he got back to England safely. He later shared a post stating that the two airlines that denied his boarding pass had refunded him.
