Young Female soldier recounts her experience at the Nigerian Army depot (Details, pics)

A young Nigerian lady identified as Blessed Amaka Onyiagha who is a soldier has shared her experience at the Nigerian army depot. The Anambra-born lady talked about why she loves what she does as a soldier who protects Nigerian citizens.

The young woman who shared her experience on Facebook noted that she understands the depths of the job she choose to do. She expressed that she had to endure sickness and cold days because she decided to protect people.

Onyiagha who talked about what it takes to become a soldier bound by duty stated the difference between living as a civilian and living as a soldier.

The brave soldier also talked about missing so many holidays, special occasions and church services in order to protect civilian lives. She said:

"I've missed out so many holidays, church services and special occasions in order to protect lives, I'm expected to work miracles and do things other people are scared to do and even save lives. It has been proven that my life expectancy is shorter than yours because of the stress I go through and the sickness I get exposed to, and yet there are no hero movies about us.”
